Integrative Mental Health Center is about offering you the highest quality healthcare possible. We offer the best forms of natural medicine combined with modern treatment methods that are effective, and safe! We want you to experience relief as quick as possible. We want you to continue to experience improvements in your emotional wellbeing. Our philosophy is to support you in having the best life possible.

Integrative Mental Health Center combines Homeopathy, Counseling, Acupuncture and CranioSacral Therapy to encourage and support you along your unique path to health. When patients utilize more than one of our treatment options they tend to recover faster, and improvements are more lasting.

Homeopathy is so effective that it is the backbone at IMHC. Homeopathic treatment is specific to each patient’s individual needs. Traditional psychiatry uses approximately 30 medications to treat depression. Homeopathy has over 500 homeopathic remedies to treat depression. Homeopathy is very effective because it treats each patient’s specific symptoms. For example: A patient who cries easily, is terrified to leave his home and craves hamburgers is going to be given the one remedy that matches his symptoms. A different patient, who feels very overwhelmed ever since her husband died two years ago. She feels irritable when people talk to her, wakes at 3 a.m. and can’t get back to sleep and has almost no appetite receives a different remedy. Both patients recover because the patient’s symptoms closely match the homeopathic remedy.

Counseling: A good counselor can change your life in profound ways. A safe and empowering therapeutic relationship offers opportunities for you to truly understand, love, and accept yourself. Removing the protective armor that got you through the past is frightening, but it opens the door for infinite growth. Identifying false beliefs you have about yourself and others will allow you to be fully present. Self-awareness is invaluable for a good quality of life.

Acupuncture is a popular and very effective treatment for many forms of chronic pain(1). Many people are not aware that acupuncture is a potent treatment for patients suffering from mental illness. During an acupuncture treatment, very thin needles are inserted into specific areas on the body called acupuncture points. Needles typically remain in their respective acupuncture points for 20 minutes. Acupuncture points have strong effects on emotional regulation. Acupuncture treatments focus on bringing the patient to a more balanced state, emotionally and physically.

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle form of bodywork that produces profound emotional, mental, and physical relief. Emotional pain and trauma are experienced both mentally and physically manifesting as chronic headaches, fatigue and muscle tension, and other chronic afflictions. CST allows people to release emotional and mental trauma on many levels. One reason Integrative Mental Health is so effective is because the entire person is treated. CST focuses on specific areas of the body to facilitate the release of restrictions, trauma, memories and past experiences. Many people that use this therapy report a lasting sense of well being, confidence and self-awareness.

(1)In May 2017 the FDA recommended doctors begin recommending acupuncture in the treatment of chronic pain and musculoskeletal pain.
